Food and essentials
Weekly food distribution for member families, and a community closet of women’s clothing that mothers can draw on when they need it — for a job interview, a new season, or a child’s growth spurt.
Thrive Single Moms is a nonprofit in Redlands, California. We help single-mother families meet real needs and build toward self-sufficiency — through food and essentials, practical training, and a community of mothers who have been there.
Our work follows three threads — Empower, Engage and Equip — and it stays practical. Every mother arrives with a different need first.

Sessions on the things that decide whether a month works: parenting skills, budgeting and financial security, the path toward owning a home, and recognising a healthy relationship. Offered in person and online.
Community dinners where newcomers meet other mothers, hear what help is available, and stop carrying it alone — plus peer groups, retreats and our annual events through the year.
Thrive Single Moms was founded in Redlands in 2016 by Brandi Dailey, after her own years of struggling as a single mother of three. What she found in that time was a gap: mothers raising children on their own needed to be supported, educated and encouraged, and there was very little built for them.
So Thrive was built by single mothers for single mothers. That peer-to-peer shape is the point — the women running a workshop have usually sat through the same month you are having. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving families in Redlands and the surrounding communities of San Bernardino County.
Whether you are a mother looking for support or a neighbour who wants to help, we would like to hear from you.
